Including some of the suggestions given here, I've used:

Wendol, I especially like, and there is the Grendel connection. You've all seen The 13th Warrior, which is an adaptation of Beowulf, right?

Huldren is also recognize, and Jotnar. Are the others all from similar sources?

I would have gone with Jotun or Grendel, but I might have twisted it a bit.

Grendel: Gryndll, Krndyl, Grindaall

Jotun: Yotn, J'tunn

(I'm surprised, however, that nobody suggested "Moomin" )

I use the trollborn as well from the Vikings supplement. I dropped the name troll and instead use fensir and fensirborn.
