Any Cons east of Montreal in Canada?

Going through a little withdrawl ion conventions, when I lived it Ottawa I always went to Can Games and Night March (in Ed Greenwood's home town), but I heaven't heard of anything over by the ocean. No conventions in Halifax or NB anywhere, is there?

Unfortunately, none that I've heard of... At least you've been to a CON (in Ed Greenwood's home town no less). As much as I love the east coast, it really bites for gamers like us!

Beyond just going there, one year I won the draw to play in a game he DMs... that was a freaky game

Well -in- Montreal, Maisonneuve College used to make a gaming Con that was actually pretty good, despite being a college con. The year I went, for example, Mark Rein Hagen was a guest, and that was back when WoD was at it's peak. Not sure what the status of it is now, though.

Not to thread-jack or anything, but while we're talking Canadian cons, anyone know of any around London ontario? I'd go as far east as Toronto and as far west as Windsor for a good con. Yeah there won't be anything one tenth as cool as a GenCon, but I'd like to know what's around.

Well, to be honest, some of the freakiness may have been due to the blood in my alcohol content... but Ed really throws himself into the roles as DM, when I DM I never have the guts to talk weird or anything.

And I had never seen a picture of Ed before that day, never expected to run into a Grizzly Adams lookalike

There's a few in and around London/Kitchener, but the biggest I can think of is Orion/AdAstra in Toronto in April.

When I was there, the University of Waterloo had a very small con, but it was fun. Not too many dealers, but tons of games going on. Pretty fun stuff.
