Like character sheet generators etc...Most either cost alot (HeroLab) or are out of date.

I also think a spellbook generator would be cool. You could have a database of all the spells, check off the ones in your book, and print it out with the spell spcifics on it...

Stuff like that...Buying all the HeoLab stuff would be close to 200 bucks...that's a little too procey for my blood.

sCoreGen was awesome, but they quit updating anything a lonf time ago..

I wish there were updated character buildes for free though..I understand hero labs has to make money, but to buy all the PF add ond it's close to 150 bucks...that's alot of dough to shell out..

I am looking for some program or template to setup NPC shorthand stat blocks, as well as making dungeon/tactical maps akin to the ones shown in the Pathfinder free modules (D0: Hollow's Last Hope and D1.5: Kobold King).

I am a big fan of neatly setup pages, and these are perfect for printing out and following - I would also like to use such tools to publish my own adventures for others to use

Hero Lab is really nice though. I went all through my 3.x days using free character builders, so I know what you mean about price. But Hero Lab is awesome. It has saved me so much time that it has been well worthy the money.

Though it can get a bit pricy you can don't have to start with all the add-ons up front. If you are just a player then you can skip the Bestiaries. Depending on the character you might be able to get by with just the core and APG. Then add on in future months as you need to. That really helps spread the up front cost out over a period of time,

It has been worth every penny for me so far.

Yeah..I think I am going to break down and buy it...If looks great. I am curently running Shackled City and getting ready to play in kingmaker, then when my SC campaign runs it's course, I am nominated to run Carrion Crown...So I'll probably get it all...just need to break down and open the wallet...
