Any D&D Miniatures Set may be reprinted!

The full quotes are on my D&D Miniatures News page, but Linae Foster has confirmed that Wizards will (and has) reprint older sets of D&D Miniatures if the demand is there - they've done so for Underdark recently.

"For the record: nothing is ever out of print, simply out of stock"

Cheers!

At the same time though I can't see WotC reprinting any of the first 3 sets. Compared to the latest sets, the paint and sculpt jobs on the early few sets are pretty ordinary. I think they would be better off just making resculpts of the older minis. I think that they would sell better and the public in general would like them more.

I agree.

Harbinger is one ugly set compared to the newer ones.

I think it's very unlikely we'll see a reprint of Harbinger.

However, sets like War of the Dragon Queen? More likely.

Cheers!

I want the Giants series. And the one with Sauhagin, but this time not make the sauhagin and the yuan-ti retardedly rare.

The Sahuagin was uncommon, IIRC. The Yuan-Ti Abomination was rare (large, alas), but all other Yuan-Ti have been uncommon. The set was Aberrations, which is generally regarded as being one of the least successful of the sets - I think it's very unlikely we'll see it again.

I'd far rather see those figures done in a new set.

Cheers!

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, I bought boxes of Aberrations and didn't find a single fishy-man! How am I supposed to have battles in my bathtub?

I'm guessing WotC will probably continue to keep sets in print as long as the sales numbers are still high. Once numbers start to go down, they'll let it fade.
