Any fans of The Guild?

My wife has a small role in the second season, and she's had a blast helping behind the scenes a few times. I have not really watched it much before (and I am not a WOW player), but from what I am hearing it's really worth watching and pretty funny.

Anyone a fan, or have any recommendations about watching it?

I've been watching it since it started, I do NOT play WOW (but I understand the basic concepts of the game) and I enjoy it!

It's simple but fun. And on the second or third watching of previous episodes I'd usually catch another joke or something that I missed the first time.

Season 2 just started.

The star (Felica) is a gamer, she even mentions in interviews as to playing d&d before (and possibly still, can't tell by the wording in that interview).

Edit: Guild-ed. :)

It's a fantastic show. While I do believe you'd get more out of it as an MMO player, it should also possess a unique fascination to people who aren't.

And I have to say that, speaking as a recovering MMO addict and someone who used to be part of a guild with plenty of drama, Day's characters are incredibly, and sometimes disturbingly, true to life. But the show never comes off as a condemnation of MMO players or some afterschool special warning you about the dangers of addiction. It has a lighthearted and good-natured spirit with a slight element of the surreal, letting you always feel in on the jokes and taking the edge off what could easily be darker moments.

It's great we're in a place now where technology lets these sort of shows happen.

We are headed to the cast party tonight celebrating the wrapping of season 2. Anyone have any questions I should ask?
