Speaking of gmail, do they even give out @gmail.com addresses these days (. . .) ?

I just signed up for one the other day, so I guess so.

Yes, in places where Google owns the Gmail trademark, like the US, they use @Gmail.com. I think in the UK and Germany someone else already owned it, so they had to change to @googlemail.com.

Could you link to the sign-up page, please? Maybe it's different, depending on the location of the ISP, but I would like to check.
