I think it has amazing customer service (I live in Parkville and I consider it my FLGS if that's any indication of what I think of the place.) The name of the place is Pulp Fiction comics and games, it's run by a guy named Andy.
Andy is an old friend of mine and someone I used to game with when we were in college. He's a great guy, and the store is wonderful. Nice and clean with a huge gaming area in the back. So I heartily recommend Pulp Fiction.
I also recommend A to Z in Blue Springs. It's run by a lady named Debbie, who is a total sweetheart. I've frequented that place for 20 years.
Monte's...well, you can occasionally find some older stuff there, so it's good for that. Poorly organized with books lying out everywhere and no effort to clean it up. Not the cleanest, and hard to find. They used to have a store in Lee's Summit, but it closed. It's on 40 HWY.
The other one that used to be in Independence was Myths and Legends. You could get a book for a steal there, but they closed down a couple years back.
Hey, I'm looking for a game too, so if you want, drop me an e-mail at trampas (at) dragonhelm (dot) net.
