I haven't lived in the area for quite some time so I'm curious if anyone knows of a good RPG shop. The ones I remember were in the Rossmoor center and Marina Pacifica, but I'm sure they are both long gone. I think there was another one out at South Coast Plaza, too. Can't remember any of the names, though. Any suggestions?

Try Brookhurst Hobbies, on Brookhurst, in Garden Grove. They are great! Henry is the owner, and they have an excellent staff. They can do special orders, etc, and have not only a large selection, but also very reliable distribution. Great place to go!
Next, would be The Game Castle, off of State College Blvd and Chapman Ave, in the city of Fullerton. They have an excellent, in-depth selction of rpg's, figures, and magazines. Great store, and, it's right next to a Round Table Pizza, where the manager is Skip. Skip is friendly, and very cool. His Round Table Pizza shop is an excellent place to have lunch after shopping at The Game Castle, and great fun to hang out and read, and relax.

I'll have to second Shark's recommendation for Brookhurst Hobbies for all your hobby needs. I've just come to this area recently and was lucky enough to find it through the yellow pages. I must say that I was well impressed.

Originally from Orange County myself. In fact, I lived a half mile from South Coast Plaza before I moved up here to Sac for grad school. I'll second the Brookhurst hobbies nod, but don't go looking for the store that was in South Coast Plaza, Gamesmanship... long gone. That space is now a Rain Forest Cafe.

Shark captured 2 really good ones though brookhurst is the better of the two. my personal favorite is all star games in diamond bar. 57 fwy north exit diamond bar blvd. go right its on the left about 3-4 lights east of the freeway.
