I haven't heard anything other than a bunch of my friends who live all over New England have arrived. I definitely feel that I am missing a good con

I was going to DM there this year but the date conflicted with some family events so I can only live vicariously through my friends that are there.

More insights from Day 2 of GaryCon:

1) Backseat DM'ing is bad. It's really bad when 6 of 7 players are experienced DM's and they run all over the acting DM.

2) If you have chance to play in a game Mike Mearls is running, take it. I was only an observer, but it was the most fun D&D expierence I can remember.

3) My profound respect and admiration for the team that puts GaryCon together and keeps it on track. My only criticism so far is that registration needs to open before 7:30 am if games start at 8:00 am.
