Any news on DTRPG?

Hey, other than Monte Cook being a good guy - has there been any other news on the DTRPG front? GenCon is coming up soon and I'm really hoping WW does something to redeem themselves before Graceful Wicked Masks and WOD2 comes out.

Otherwise, I'll have to spend all my gencon money on multiple copies of Paranoia XP.

Hey, dave-o, the topic is something that happened about a month ago, called Drive-Thru RPG:

To summarize, they sell digital-rights-managed RPG e-books through exclusive contracts with the publishers they represent. There was a rather large flame war that was stirred up over the topic when it first launched, which is why the calls for "polite" questions and rejoinders to be civil when discussing the topic.

ONE NOTE: Monte Cook is one vendor who is still offering his PDF's in the NON-digital rights managed version, through the white wolf online sales site. Hence why he's mentioned as a nice guy.

1. Is Malhavoc Press the only company to have removed the cut-and-paste restriction? Will others do so in the future as well (or increase the limit)?

2. I still don't understand exactly what I need to do if I change computers or clean my hard drive. Can you explain?

3. (When) Will there be more releases in S&SS's Scarred Lands line? Will all of S&SS's products be sold at DTRPG in the future?
