My favorite was a Paul Jaquays adventure from one of the Books of Treasure Maps called the Lone Tower. It suffered from fewer of the old 1E oddities than most adventures of that time... apart from the magic six-sider that turned you into a were wolf, of course...
I love that adventure, and the entire first Book of Treasure Maps. The maps are interesting and often creative (although a bit too tied into the Wilderlands setting). I do plan on adapting some of them to my 4E campaign in Eberron.

The second one isn't nearly as interesting, with not very creative maps. The third one is awful, without any "treasure maps" in the book, just a collection of adventure sites. What's the point of a "Book of Treasure Maps" without the maps?

Right now I just introduced Tegel Manor into my campaign. There are bumps in the adaption (since I've been doing it on the fly), especially a lot of constricted areas. Once I get a chance to plan a bit more, I expect more smoothness.

For those of you JG Fans who liked the Wilderlands I have a new product in the same spirit. Despite it's title the stats work for any edition of D&D except for 4th.

Also the upcoming 3rd issue of Fight-On! is dedicated to the memory of Bob Bledsaw and will contain a new, unofficial, expansion to the Wilderlands of High Fantasy. Map 19 the Wild North. It is located just north of the Valon Map.

Its still out there lurking about, even the second half. Sadly, I don't see a way forward for the return of Inferno with the fractured publishing market, and I keep looking through the murky crystal ball. A couple of the more old-style companies that once might have had an interest are currently in limbo. I'm not against doing it in non-D/D brand systems, such as C&C, but darn it, I"m not going to learn another system to do the translation myself; I already know that when I try to translate into a system (3E) that I don't play, it doesn't get done well.

Geoff

The reason I suggested C&C is because of how you'll be able to write it up like you did for 1E. The main thing will be determining challenge levels for the effectiveness/danger of the various stuff you wrote up. Which will likely be the 3E save DC-10=CL. If I find those MS's I'll talk to you in more detail about it.
