Any other Morningstar fans here?

DMH

First Post
As much as Oathbound is my most favorite d20 setting, Morningstar is a close second. The technology (and the revised artificer), magical signatures, peoples (and where they come from), the Canticle and the feel of the setting are the parts that impressed me most.

I know Scott is working on a second edition (well, not at the moment since his wedding is tomorrow) that will have a lot more setting information and I hope it will be out sometime next year. Who else is waiting for this edition?

Here are some potential problems that may have prevented people from looking at it.

$30 for 160 b&w pages well before that was the standard.

Support that was supposed to be forthcoming has not.

It's a 'dead' setting.

Dawnforge may have hit the vein/genre people might have been interested in Morningstar.

Too many settings (Morningstar, Dragonmech, and T-Rex all from Goodman alone no?)

I saw it on the five dollar table at mine.....

It was on the "buy one get three free" table at Origins, but I picked up a whole bunch of Soverign Stone stuff instead.

Maybe I made the wrong call.

I got my copy of the 3.0 campaign from Croth. And I'm happy that I have it. There is so much cool stuff in it, that instead of porting over what I like (which way too much) to my homebrew, I'm actually going to have it linked to my homebrew through use of an ancient long lost portal.
