Any publisher have an OGC Iron Dragon?

Im looking for an OGC Iron Dragon for use in an idea my son came up with the other day. Anyone know where if one exists?

I don't know of any, but it shouldn't be that hard to make one of your own.

Just use one of the existing dragons (chromatic if it is evil, metallic if it is good), and fiddle with its appearance, breath weapon, and spells. Presto!

I suppose it would technically be a metallic dragon, but of all the metals, iron is most associated with violence and bloodshed. i.e. the golden rule is charitable altruism: "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" but the iron rule is pre-emptive retaliation: "do unto others as they would do unto you- but do it first!"

So I'd use a chromatic dragon as a base. Electricity would be a good breath weapon. For spells, Rusting grasp, wall of iron, some kind of magnetic themed spell. Repulsion, maybe. Or reverse gravity.

Actually his idea was for an Epic level creature variation of an "Iron" dragon, so I justed wanted an OGC creature so when it got blended it would be consistent. If there isnt one, I guess we WILL be creating a new one. Im really surprised no ones made an Iron dragon though. Maybe they have, and its just not OGC...

The mineral Warrio Template from Underdark might help you; just use a dragon of whatever CR you need, add that and that should be that.
