any Turn Undead House Rules?

Here are mine It's a damage based version of turning. Also, coincidently, a TiddlyWiki site, so same warnings as muzick's post above, though it's slightly smaller: about 600k.

Main thing to keep in mind, Turn Attempts per Day have been renamed Divine Channelings, and Turning Undead is just one of the many things (techniques) you can do with a Channeling. Replace references to the "monastic" with cleric, and "Pala" with Paladin.

It's most likely because I'm using a wiki called TiddlyWiki.
I thought that was it, too, but other TiddlyWiki sites--like Sir Brennen's--looks okay, with just a little bit of weird behavior. I hate to drag this thread off topic, but I took some screenshots of your turning rule and the to do list from the front page, in case they're of any help to you. Most likely, it's all just the result of interaction between your specific TiddlyWiki settings, my outdated browser, and my office's security policies, and not something you should worry much about.

I checked it out in IE, too... and the To Do list is indeed bizarre... each nested level getting progressively larger and larger in font size...

Firefox handles it fine, though. I usually test my site in both browsers, to try to get them as cross-compatible as possible.

Turning is one of the things I think that does need to be fixed. I find anything weak enough to be turned isn't worth turning and anything powerful enough to be a threat, you can't turn and you may as well use your turn attempts via divine metamagic to maximize a bolt of glory or searing light and annihilate it.

I think I've figured out what the problem is with my tiddlywiki. For now, though, I'll post the rules here.

Turn Undead
The cleric makes a Turn attempt and rolls 1d6 / cleric level. All undead in the area of effect must make a Will save vs a DC of 10 + Cleric's level + Cleric's Cha mod for half damage. Undead with turn resistance may add that bonus to this save. Any undead reduced to 0 or fewer hit points are destroyed. If an undead takes damage equal to or greater than 1/2 its current remaining hit points, it is considered turned and acts accordingly.

Rebuke Undead
The cleric makes a Rebuke attempt. All undead in the area of effect must make a Will save vs a DC of 10 + Cleric's level + Cleric's Cha mod or cower for 10 rounds. Undead with turn resistance may add that bonus to this save. Attacks against cowering undead gain a +2 on their attack rolls.

Command Undead
To command undead, an evil cleric (or neutral cleric who has chosen to rebuke rather than turn undead) must make a turn attempt. All undead in the area of effect must make a Will save vs a DC of 10 + Cleric's level + Cleric's Cha mod. Undead with turn resistance may add that bonus to this save. Intelligent undead may also add their Intelligence modifier (if positive) to the save. Any undead failing the save is commanded by the cleric.

Bolster Undead
An evil cleric may spend a turn attempt to bolster undead within the area against turning. For each turn attempt the cleric spends, all undead in the area gain turn resistance +1, or have their turn resistance increased by 1. The cleric may not increase any particular undead creature's turn resistance by more than +3 with this ability.

Dispel a Turning Attempt
If an evil cleric (or neutral cleric who has chosen to rebuke rather than turn undead) wishes to dispel a turn attempt made by another cleric, he must make an opposed turn check. He rolls 1d6 / cleric level. If his total is higher than the original turn check, the turn attempt fails. If he rolls lower, or the two values are the same, the turn check succeeds, and undead in the area of effect must save for half damage.

If a good cleric wishes to dispel a rebuke, command, or bolster attempt made by an evil cleric (or neutral cleric who has chosen to rebuke rather than turn undead), both clerics roll 1d6 / cleric level. If the good clerics total is higher than his opponent's total, the dispel is successful. Otherwise, the opposing cleric's attempt is made normally.

In a way, the Turn/Rebuke power is kinda like the Intimidate or Diplomacy skill. I wonder if there's some skill-based way to use this power.

Our house rule is that they cower unless you attack them. Once attacked (successfully or not) the undead become 'frightened' for the remainder of the turning duration
