The book is pretty darn nice, though it's surprising just how much of it is reprinted from other places. Defense Bonus, Armor DR, Racial Paragon Classes, Bloodlines (Andy Collins's house rules), Sanity ... we're talking a huge percentage of the book is available elsewhere. Much of the original stuff -- Spell Points, Traits, Flaws -- is stuff that, though being original implementations, other folks are already doing.

Still, there's a bunch of stuff that will prove useful for my games. I'm trying Players Roll All the Dice for the first combat this Saturday, just to see how it goes. We have a large group, so it might keep folks at the table rather than standing up to look around the gaming store.
 

Also, they (generally) think things through better than other house rulers would do. For instance, they detail just exactly how much power will creep if you use the spell points rules, from infringing on the sorcerer, to having a few more spells/day, to being able to use more powerful spells more often.
