if i'm reading it right - it's a gesalt druid/wizard as far a spells per day, and spell selection goes?

way too powerful. if they shared both spell lists and one spells per day table, maybe (though why anyone would choose anything else with the best of all right there one would wonder)...

if it's 2 spell lists, and 2 spells/day table - that's far too powerful for a standard campaign...

double the spells per day and double the selection for giving up wild shape? also makes wizards totally pointless.

2 good saves, higher hit points, higher skill points, all wizards spells + wizard spell progression, all druid spells + druid spell progression. massively over powered in a standard setting.

I could be reading it wrong, but that's how it seems to be written.

EDIT: hah, they get Ironwood Platearmor eventually too (natural armor), and still a decent number of class abilities. If it's full spell progression as a wizard PLUS full spell progression as a druid then this class is totally broken, massively over powered, and would out shine *every* other class in the book unless you use similarly powerful varients.
Wizards have the ability to memorize books of 580 pages or less, can locate any book at will and may scribe Glyphs of Warding or Defense.

When a Wizard uses Glyph of Warding he or she may cast one or more offensive spells in to a specific object such as a book. The Wizard must at least be three levels higher than the minimum Wizard level for spell, if they are twelve levels higher the Glyph of Warding is permanent. It only effects wizards who are the opposite moral alignment of the Wizard. Example: let's say a Good aligned eighth level Wizard wants to protect his spell book from rival Wizards, so he uses Glyph of Warding on it and he chooses Fireball twice and Lightning Bolt three times. One of his rivals (who's trying to join the Red Wizards) decides to steal his spell book from him. Upon opening the book a ball of flame explodes causing 8d6 points of damage followed by a lightning bolt causing another 8d6 points of damage.

Glyph of Defense is the same except you cast defensive spells instead.

perhaps I'm just being very slow this morning - what does this have to do with what i posted about the True Druid class being overpowered?

Well you said that other classes would need to be a little more powerful for my druid to fit, didn't you.

maybe I'm confused.. I was origonally writing about the True Druid posted by The Great Bear King.

was that a class you made?

I think the ramifications of taking everything good from a wizard and slapping it onto a slightly weaker druid are pretty huge, and I don't think you could come up with a way to make other spellcasters match them.

Another option -
just run a Gesalt campaign (from unearthed arcana). your True Druid is basically a gesalt Druid/Wizard.
