Anybody use the adventure in the back of the Eberron setting?

Well, I just finished-up running the Forgotten Forge yesterday, and started Shadows of the Last War. I really enjoyed Forgotten Forge. The horid rats are nasty, but there's a sancutary down there, so there's help to players who use it. (Sadly, my players don't, but it's all part of the roleplaying experance.) Be careful though, if your group dosen't have a warforged in it, they may become distrustfull of all warforged. ;)

Well I plan on running it in the next week or so.
Looks my group of three will include an Artificer, a half-orc druid and a kalashtar.
Don't know more details yet but reading the adventure it looks ok to me.

I just picked up Eberron today and I gotta say the intro adventure in the back looks real nice! who can tell if I will ever get to run it but as has been said it looks like one of the better intros I've seen. With Shadows (also purchased today) Wizards have released a nice two parter to kick off the setting.

Dungeon 113 has an Eberron adventure that is also billed as a possible sequel to the intro adventure. I just finished reading it, and it offers some interesting hooks for additional adventures.

Running it right now.

Initially, the adventure seemed rather conventional and uninspired to me. Then I realized that Eberron works best as a game of medieval Shadowrun, with the PC's playing violent lowlifes embroiled in the machinations of powerful, amoral organizations.

Everything improved immediately, and my players are having a blast.

You know, the group I'm running loves Shadowrun! I hadn't thought of that conection.

We played in both the opening adventure and the dungeon follow on Dungeon 113 adventure. Had a great time and enjoyed both.

I plan to run it soon myself. I'm really digging the official adventures, they seem well-written from my first reading. Then it's Dungeon 113 and "Shadows of the Last War" after that. Then we'll see what's next. After the session, I'll post here and let you know how it went.

How well do the Action Dice enhance play?

I don't think it's something you notice session to session, but over the long haul I think it makes a big difference. For one, in a campaign without ressurection, etc. (Eberron is realtively low level), it helps that out. It adds alot of survivability and fast-pacedness to the campaign.

I haven't used it in D&D, but in D20 Future. What differences there might be, I do not know.
