I have a feeling the files for most of the stuff were on my dead comp and not included in the back up. I'll ask on the German boards as well as I very much want my collection complete again, too.

Ah, so the hard drive is ok? If so then it's just a matter of recovering your data. I would suggest a USB to SATA/IDE hard drive adapter kit like the one in the link below. It's cheap and you can extract your data easily as long as the drive spins and the electronics are ok.
