Hello,
I`m having my players arrive now in the capital of my campaign, and i was recommended the Freeport supplemental.
Hoewever i also happened upon the Kalamar: " Geanavue - Stones of Peace ", however i havent used a Kalamar-product before.
I don`t have the time to create an absolutely new all-by-myself background for my capital, so i was asking what you think of this Geanavue - Project.
My capital is a major port, the Place where the King resides and a place where Politic, intrigue and Nobility are important. My campaign has a very medieval-like style.

Since I'm obviously biased, I'll try to stay away from opinion. Fact-wise, I can tell you that politics, intrigue and nobility are very important in Geanavue. There are many noble houses and lots of backstabbing!
In general, Geanavue is a fairly peaceful city, but there are several underworld elements you can use if you're looking for something darker to throw in. And as another poster remarked, Geanavue is not technically a port city. It actually sits several miles inland, with most of the trading done in the lawless port town of Loona. Also, the included fold-out map includes the detailed Geanvue on one side, and the sewer system passageways on the other side. With the sewers, you even have "dungeon crawl" options if you're looking to add that in.
There are 5 reviews of Geanavue here on the ENWorld site (an overall rating of 4.2 out of 5), so I'd suggest checking those out.
