Anyone compiled a list of ECL 1 races?

A friend of mine is trying to find an ECL 1 race to use in an upcoming game. Since he doesn't come here, I thought I'd do some legwork for him.

Any help is appreciated!

I'm sure people are just letting you do the legwork like you wanted.

Seriously though, I'd also be interested. I have Savage Species, so I'm aware of the 3 or 4 non-elf races listed there (Kobold, Orc, Goblin,...), but I haven't gone through any of my monster supplements to see what else there is of a reasonable ECL.

Bastards & Bloodlines from Green Ronin details the following +1 ECLs...

Decataur, biped (Elf/Centaur)
Half-Gnoll (Gnoll/Human)
Morlock (Gnome/Troglodyte)

but the ECL +2s are even better...
Blinkling (Halfling/Blink Dog)
Green folk (Human/Lizardfolk)
Kestrel (Harpy/Halfling)
Piper (Elf or Halfling/Satyr)
Spring child (any humanoid/Dryad)
Watcher (Dwarf/Gargoyle)
Wendigo (Dwarf/Winter Wolf)

Aasimar, tieflings, fire genasi, earth genasi, water genasi, and air genasi are all ECL +1 races.

Seems like I'm always the last to know....I'm working on some half-whatever races for my homebrew and darn it once again....its already been done. I have some of these on my list too, but haven't seen this product you speak of....is it me or does it seem sometimes that in this genre that we are all just rehashing things that have already been done...is there any original stuff left for us to branch off into....

I'll go now and put away my genetic diagrams, you know, from high school ....

Oh BTW here's some of mine that are not on the list....

Gnomling = halfling/gnome
Dwarlock = Dwarf/Grimlock
Kuo-Droa = Kuo Toa/Drow
Gnoblin = Gnome/Goblin
Troglomen = Troglodite/Human
Gnollbear = Gnoll/Bugbear
Hubugbearian = Human/Bugbear

etc., etc., etc., ad nausem..

CPT G hits forehead in frustration at beeing lazy and not geting his stuff out first.

Oh well that's like the 1st ED character I had in 1979...what was his name....Rambo, he,he,he....I should have copywrited it I'd have been rich when the movies came out. Instead I soldier on for peanuts.
