Thats about all I can come up with. There may be a few more but it seems to me that there a lot more ecl 2 critters than ecl 1.

Wouldn't it reather be the meazel (from Monsters of Faerûn) ? Playing a weasel seems quite limited (well, an awakened weasel, maybe; but since awaken gives 2 HD, it's not going to be ECL 1).

Well, not all cross-breeds come from sxual relations, many, if not most, are the product of magic and magical experimentation.

Hair of halfling + hair of blinkdog + a pound of blood + a pinch of salt + magic cauldronm thingy, you get the idea.

Of course one never knows. They could have done it the old fashioned way. Though conception does seem unlikely.
