Thanks to the great podcast round-up that's been on the front page a few times, I've been turned on to two fantastic podcasts that deserve a shout-out:

20 Weeks of Hell http://twentyweeksofhell.podbean.com/author/twentyweeksofhell/page/2/ The idea here is that a gaming group plays a different RPG every week- mostly low-profile systems like Blue Planet and Star trek the Next generation. it's quite a ride because each week is a new ruleset. The live play sessions are well miked and easy to listen to. The COC episode is quite long but is well worth it- it's a great scenario with plenty of action and scares. The discussion sessions are worth a listen as well.

The other podcast I've been enjoying is Order 66 http://d20radio.com/index.php?blog=1 , which is SWSE. My group is getting ready to have our first SWSE edition game and the podcast has been a big help in learning the ins and outs of the rules. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Saga.

I've been listening to that one quite as well, and though I may not always agree with some of the assessments that GM Chris or GM Dave make, they've offered up some pretty interesting insights into the Saga Edition rules, particularly on their segments on the base classes. The forum is pretty cool as well, without the bouts of asshattery that all too frequently show up on the WotC forums.

As I'll be running our Saga game, I greatly enjoy their breakdowns of the core classes and the various options/builds. I have players who like to optimize so now I'll have some idea as to what they have in store for me!
