Anyone else not get their Gencon badge?

I received my preregistration Gencon badge but my wife, who registered at the same time and ordered event tickets for both of us, received no badge and no tickets.

Has anyone else not received their badges and tickets?

Anyone know the process to get them?

Isn't the default nowadays "Will Call"? I haven't received my badge or tickets yet, and neither has my housemate. We've been Will Call for years now. You may have changed the default, while your wife didn't. Or perhaps there was a glitch one way or the other.
 

There was a glitch a while back with the badge registry this year; IIRC, it had it so that your badge was automatically set to Will Call. I got an email telling me about this, and saying to email them back if I wanted it sent to me. I did, and paid the $3 shipping charge, and it arrived at my house a few days ago.

Now, this was a few months ago, and it got corrected pretty fast. Is it possible your wife ordered her badge during this problem, and simply didn't get the explanatory email?

I set mine to "will call" but I have a friend that had his mailed out and he just mentioned this morning that he hasn't gotten them. Not sure what he's going to do.
 

More than likely your wife did not say "ship to her" and the badge and ticket will be "will call" - the good news is "will call" badges can be picked up Wednesday (late afternoon/evening). Even Thursday, the lines are not bad for "Will Call". You can look at your options to see if "will call" was turned off.

If you have to have them, you MAY want to contact customer service to see IF you can still get them mailed to you and get them by the CON.
 

We got them today. Apparently hers were in the last batch to ship late last week.

The guy on the phone did say, however, that if they did get lost in the mail, there would be NO EXCHANGES.

I find this pretty hard to believe. Next year, we're definitely ordering Fedex or will-call.

From what I'm to understand, too many people took advantage of the system. Had there badges mailed through the post office and after receiving them claim they didn't. When they got there new badges gave them to someone else.

Fed-ex is tracked tracked and will call... well you get it. There just trying to make sure their not taken advantage of.
