Anyone else trying to buy special mini?

I must be lucky. I went in at 5:53 EST USA and the entire process from start to finish took about 50 seconds. Seamless.

And yeah, usually their server is generally kinda slow.

Not if you clearly and plainly note that in the auction itself. To be safe, I wouldn't put it up until you got confirmation that it was in the mail.

Well, I wouldn't put it up at all, but I have a specific use for it.

Question for Erik: is this a one-piece fig, or is it possible to pull the rider off and do a minimum of sculpting/painting to pretty it back up? I don't think I'd do this with the LE, but if I pull one from a booster I'd like to give it a try.

Although we do not have them in hand yet, we are pretty sure that the rider and dragon are on piece. That said.. an exacto knife can do wonders I would guess....

Indeed, when I did it at about 4ish it went quickly and smoothly. Indeed, the site was the fastest I've ever seen it. The Paizo site has always been pretty slow, in my experiences.

Well, as I noted, I'm only going to do it if I pull a regular one.

The reason? I want a riderless huge black dragon.

The other reason? It's a challenge.

I don't think I'll ruin the dragon (I'm a fair to good modeller), although if it's one piece I'll probably ruin most of the rider.

bid often and bid over many months....to me. they ain't worth more than $1.50

So, the question is, how many hours of work do you put into saving yourself ten or fifteen bucks....and what value do you put on your time?

Having said that, the "exclusive" mini's just a repaint, right? You can actually just get the mini out of a WotDQ pack, can't you?

Yes. 1 in 18 WotDQ packs will have the regular Sorcerer on Black Dragon.

I just want a squadron of them to torment my players with!

How different is the paint job between the two (this one and the rare in the set)? $15 bucks is alot for a single pre-painted mini IMO
