Anyone ever planned a Southeast Game day?

Has anyone on these boards ever spoken of planning a Southeastern US (North & South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennesee) Gaming event?

I myself do not have plans to organize such a thing at this time, but was curious

1) Has anyone spoken of this before and

2) How many people would be interested and able to attend such a thing?

I live in Kentucky, so I would love to see such a thing happen. By the way, on March 22-24 I plan to be at the big sci-fi/gaming convention in Memphis (I forget what it's called) if anyone on the board would like to get together and talk dragon rights or something.

Well, in late August (?), there's DragonCon in Atlanta, Georgia. I'll almost certainly be there, and I'd love to meet some fellow ENBoarders there for some gaming and hanging out.

I'm not likely to travel more than an hour for a game, though, so unless someone is doing the Western NC/Eastern TN/Northern SC gaming meeting, I'd probably not show up. I'm already in two games and running a third.

And Florida isn't in the Southeast, either -- it, like New Orleans, is its own region.

Yea,

I plan on running the ICE module the Mines of Moria. The plot is this you are a party of dwarves sent to find what became of Balan's (sp?) Company. So the time period is between the Hobbit and the Fellowship. I am running on Fri at Fri. 8pm, Sat. 12pm.
