Anyone getting into the WotC forums outside IE?

Main page has had no problems. The forum keeps giving me an error message:

It mentions I might be disallowing cookies, but that's not an issue.

That error message suggests that you should disallow cookies ... I did so, reloaded the site successfully, then re-enabled cookies and logged in. Voila! I am once again maxed in glee.

I'm having problems in both IE & Firefox on XP SP2. If I'm logged out I can see the forums, but of course can't post. I've cleared the cookies in both and tried re-logging in - nada. I just Database error pages when I try to get at the forums. I've migrated over nearly a week ago and that hasn't helped either.

If nothing else, you could always download the IE tab firefox plugin. Runs IE wrapped in a firefox tab, so you don't have to use ie's interface.

No problems using Safari 2.0.4 for Mac OS X...

Hmmm: well, I see that the code should list an option to set true/false, and that false should be the default, but is there somewhere in the UI that I can see where I'm set to true or false?? I didn't see that in Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Cookies

I'm unable to get in with Safari (3.03b) on MacOS (latest), and Safari (2). Anyone try the Safari 3.03 for Windows?

I can get in just fine with Firefox (2.0.0.4) on the latest MacOS.

[Followup] Interestingly, after clearing my Safari browser of all cookies from wizards.com and gleemax.com immediately all of the WotC forums were loading.

So there.

I am having this problem with the Windows version of Safari. I haven't cleared the cookies yet. I will give that a try.

[Edit] That fixed it for me. Which is great since Safari has some forum tools that FireFox doesn't.

I retract my previous statement. I just attempted to login to the page and I wasn't allowed. I even tried to confirm my password and was told that my email address isn't in their system. Even though I received an email update to a thread this morning. So I don't know if I have to just wait and try again or do I have to reregister? I'm rather fond of my user name and I would rather not lose it...

Got the same problem today, as well. I think that you need to enter your entire email address, not just your board name, to log in now. Working fine for the moment, finally.
