Anyone have a good summary of what's happened since the Time of Troubles?

I was wondering if anyone out there had a good one or two page summary or could point me to one that tells of what has happened in Faerun since the Time of Troubles?

I'm looking for something that highlights what's happened (like the return of Shade, the Sahuagin attack) that I can provide to my players for a new Realms based campaign.

I'm not sure where to look besides the 3.0 Player's Guide. (not the new version but the bigger, earlier version). And I don't think anyone can summarize it into a mere 2 pages... You're talking about 12-14 years of Faerunian history there....

There is a lot of material to try to cover there, especially since some things may be more important than others depending on the area of Faerun you will be in. The Player's Guide to Faerun covers two of the more major ones - The Return of the Archwizards and The War of the Spider Queen in somewhat abbreviated format.

The Return of Bane is a big one too... it's in the Campaign Setting.

(There isn't a 3.0 Player's Guide, just the Campaign Setting - most of which struck me as DM material.)

Anyway, there is a timeline of events in the 3.0 Campaign Setting if you have that. It highlights most of the important events in Faerunian history.

Elminster got kidnapped and taken to Hell, there was Halaster's Higharvestide, Bane returned, Khelben split with the Harpers to form the Moonstars, Fzoul killed Manshoon (and woke up all his clones), the first and second Banedeath, the War of the Spider-Queen erupted, orcs and giants marched on the towns of the north, the city of Shade returned to Faerun, a red dragon and a bunch of orcs tried to invade Cormyr and killed King Azoun in the process, maztica was discovered, the Tuigan Horde invaded, the Red Wizards gave up invasion strategy and decided upon conquering by commerce, the sneak attack on Evermeet, Mulhorand invaded Unther, the Silver Marches were formed, the wars in Tethyr, Randal Morn returned to Daggerdale, Iyachtu Xvim became a demi-god only to be consumed when bane returned, Zhentil Keep was destroyed, Hellgate Keep was destroyed, Zhengyi was destroyed in Bloodstone Pass......

Yeah, lots of big events.
