"Songs of the Sea" by the Clancy Brothers was a collection of sea songs.
"Bawdy Sea Shanties" by Oscar Brandt is a bit more ribald.

I do find it amusing that one of the most popular sea songs, "The Shoals of Herring," that everyone thinks was an old nautical tune was actually the theme song from a documentary about life at sea made in the late 80s/early 90s.

and a movie called "Nate & Hayes" (Tommy Lee Jones in his prime).
