Anyone know if Dave Arneson had an ENWorld account?

Edit: the idea I suggested before all this was a simple custom title for Gary's account. Something original that no-one else could have gained.

The Colonel already has such a title associated with the account. It says "Father of the Game".

No "experience point title"could ever say more, or mean more, than that. Accordingly, I think these efforts, however well intended, are misdirected.

However, if someone wants to honor Dave, I'd suggest a thread with quotes or links to things he's said or a "thank you, Dave" thread, perhaps laced with anecdotes of memories with Dave or perhaps messages of how he's influenced our life in some way.

Please don't do that. Having an unrelated third party set up an account representing him could get confusing or even legally troublesome. And, quite honestly, it is not your right to do so. Thanks.

Not a problem. I hadn't considered that. I'm glad now that I made this thread instead of just creating an account.

I'd be surprised if there hasn't already been such a thread, though I didn't see one when I ran a search on his name. But if there isn't, this idea sounds cool. Though I think somebody else is going to have to do that if it's to be done.
