Anyone know where to find a Chronomancer class?

Aereas

First Post
I am a huge fan of the 2e chronomancer (time mage), and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a 3.0/3.5 version of it? (3.5 is prefered, but 3.0 is easy rnouph to convert).

I would prefer a base class version of it, but I'm also willing to look into prc forms of the class. I know I have seen a prc version of it, but I don't recall where. Finally, I am pretty sure that WoTC has not released one and I will have to look at the 3rd party source for it.

Thanks for any help you can give on this.

If you have the Dragon Archive CDs, Dragon #65 presented a 1e NPC Timelord class that would be full of good inspiration for 3e stuff.

The sourcebook titled "Magic" by AEG details a 3E version of the Chronomancer in the very first chapter. Check it out: http://www.alderac.com/d20/products.html

EDIT: Forgot to mention that it is a base class (ie, levels 1-20) in the book too, and it introduces a new school of magic, Chronomancy, and some new spells to go with it.

Oh. Well, that trumps anything I was going to post. Still, there's the forementioned Timelord, which I could email you, if you like, and there's also the Temporal Mage PrC in the Advanced Players Guide (Sword and Sorcery), which is kind of similar-ish I guess. I only referred to that book a short while ago, so that PrC occured to me where it might not've otherwise.

Time can be found.

Found this for you...but as a prestige class. Chronomacer

You can buy this also.

Found an old EnWorld thread, that has a full 20th level, with spells and the like. 6-23-03

If you are going to deal with Time Travel, you need to see what guardians protect the multiverse.

Time Watchers.

Found some spells...Power of Time Microsoft Word access.

Mongoose did an Encyclopedia Arcane: Chronomancy, which introduced Chronomancy as a school of magic with various prestige classes. I liked it a lot, but I understand it was quite different from the D&D 2E chronomancy.

This is not the 2e Chronomancer converted to 3e, but it's a full netbook available for FREE: Follow the link in my signature below, and download the Netbook of Time.

More replies than I expected!

Grodog:
I don't have that Dragon mag, but I may know of someone who does :D

The book was a worthy idea, and not to sound cheap, but I can't afford to buy any books right now. The one true problem with not having a job :(

Aus_Snow:
That would be great if you could email it! I would be very appreciative of it. :D

As for the Temporal Mage PrC, I'll have to see if I can find a way to get my hands on that book, but sadly I don't think I will be able to

Truth Seeker:
The Prc would be great if only I knew what it refered to as for the prestige school of Chronomancy. Although, with the spells it could in theory just grant access to them, and that would be pretty cool right there!

The 2e chronomancy book is truly a great book, and one I overpayed for without regrets. :D I was hoping for an already converted version, but if I don't find a fitting one, I am in no way above making my own. As it is, if I only gain one by Prc, I'd plan to convert it to a full class :)

I will be looking over that thread for quite some time! Thanks a bunch!

Many powers sure don't like Chronomancers (and rightly so). I never knew the lady blocked access to temporal prime!

sweet! the 2e time spells I loved so much! I was thinking I'd have to rewrite them all, but now I just need to convert them! You have been most helpful, and I extend an additional thanks to you ^_^

Jonny Nexus:
Encyclopedia Arcane: Chronomancy will be a book I'll also have to try and find...maybe even purchase when I get the money.

Turanil:
Thanks for the link, I have just downloaded the book and will be looking it over very soon.
