I was reading Redhurst: Academy of Magic and registering for classes at the same time. I got inspired:

Courses Offered:

-CA 101 Introductory Principles of Magical Items (4 lecture)
Magic Items, their creation and use. Emphasis on applications for adventuring.

-CA 110 Nonmagical Crafting (3 lecture, 1 lab)
Creation of non-magical items through non-magical means. Emphasis on basic Woodworking.

-CA 111 Woodworking (1 lecture, 3 lab)
Exploration of the methods and tools used to craft items from wood.
Prereq: CA 110 or equivalent

-CA 112 Metalsmithing (1 lecture, 3 lab)
Exploration of the methods and tools used to craft items from metal, especially Iron.
Prereq: CA 110 or equivalent

-CA 131 Introduction to Magical Crafting (3 lecture, 1 lab)
The theory and practice of imbuing items with magical energy. Practical exercises focus on the creation of magical scrolls.
Prereq: GW 110, THEO 110, SORC 110, WILD 121, or BARD 145 with a grade of C- or better.
Cannot receive credit for both CA 131 and CA 137

-CA 137 Magical Crafting Principles (2 lecture)
The theory of magical crafting without the practical aspects. Designed for those who want to pursue some aspects of magical

crafting, but have no desire to learn the specifics of scroll-scribing.
Cannot receive credit for both CA 131 and CA 137.

-CA 140 Introduction to Alchemy (2 lecture, 2 lab)
Basic principles of alchemical theory, and their practical applications.

-CA 213 Bowmaking (1 lecture, 3 lab)
Tecniques for the crafting of bows and crossbows.
Prereq: CA 111

-CA 215 Weaponsmithing (1 lecture, 3 lab)
Tecniques for the crafting of thrown and melee Weapons.
Prereq: CA 111 and CA 112

-CA 217 Leatherworking (2 lecture, 2 lab)
Exploration of the methods and tools used to craft items from leather.
Prereq: CA 110 or equivalent. CA 140 suggested.

-CA 219 Armorsmithing (1 lecture, 3 lab)
Tecniques for the crafting of armors from hide, cloth, and metal.
Prereq: CA 111 and CA 217

-CA 231 Intermediate Magical Crafting (2 lecture, 2 lab)
Further theory and practice of magical crafting. Emphasis on Wonderous Items.
Prereqs: GW 210, THEO 210, SORC 210, WILD 221, or BARD 245 with a grade of C- or better. CA 131 or CA 137 with a grade of C-

or better.

-CA 241 Potions and Oils (3 lecture, 1 lab)
The Creation of Potions and Oils. Association between potion brewing and Alchemy.
Prereqs: GW 210, THEO 210, SORC 210, WILD 221, or BARD 245 with a grade of C- or better. CA 131, CA 137, or CA 140

Advanced Alchemal Theory. Discussion of the philosopher's stone, alchemical purification, and the fifth essense.

-CA 385 Artifacts Through the Ages(4 lecture)
Theory and History of Artifacts. Creation and Use of artifacts up to the beginning of the previous century.

-CA 386 Artifacts Today (4 lecture)
Theory and History of Artifacts. Use in recent years. Contemporary attempts to create artifacts, sucessful and otherwise.

-CA 400 Research Projects in Crafts and Artifice (2 activity)
Original Research in the feild of magic item creation. Enrollment subject to instructor approval.

-CA 405 Chakra Theory (4 lecture)
Theory of body slots and slot affinities.

-CA 481 Ioun Stones (3 lecture, 1 lab)
Theory of Ioun Stones. Creation of Ioun Stones under laboratory contitions.

-CA 532 Rods (1 lecture, 3 lab)
Creations of Rods. Metamagic theory as it applies to magical items.
Prereqs: GW 510, THEO 510, SORC 510, WILD 521, or BARD 545 with a grade of C- or better. CA 131 or CA 137 with a grade of C-

or better.

-CA 632 Staves (1 lecture, 3 lab)
Creation of Staves. Channeling power through spell trigger items.

Theory and Creation of Rings. Rings in myth and legend. Artifact Rings.

or better. CA 385 suggested.

-CA 680 Deck of Many Things (3 lecture, 1 lab)
History of the Deck. Symbolism of the cards. Practical exercise involving the deck. Inrollment subject to instructor and

administrator approval.
Prerequs: CA 385, CA 386, and CA 481 with a B- or better.
