Anyone order the Epic Level Book from Amazon?

How common is it for most of you to have local game/hobby/comic stores that offer discounts on products? Here in Michigan I'm near two places that offer around 20-25% off most gaming products, but when I was living in LA the only place nearby sold stuff for cover price.

In the Chicago land area, we have a few Gamers Paradise that put older D20 books on a 50% off rack.

Games Plus in Mt. Prospect does things a little backwards. For every increment of $10 you spend, you get a checkmark. Spend $100 in X amount of time, get a $ gift certificate. Spend $300 in X amount of time, your last certificate is $20. I keep telling him to just give a flat out 10% discount or have us buy cards to get a discount. I get real sick and tired of having to buy a mini, a die, or a piece of gum to get that even $10 amount.

The Game Shop in Kalamazoo and Discount Hobby in Battle Creek. Looks like it's a ways from you.
