Has anyone heard of/played Anima: Beyond Fantasy?

If so, what did you think of it?

Heard of it, own it, read it, but not played it. When I read through it I found myself thinking of it as a retooled version of 3E D&D. Since I have yet to play or run it, I have no solid idea of how game play is. The "feel" of it seems like it should be pretty unique.
