While this is not something I like, it is something that is acceptable. Paying $ 200 for 5 boxes makes a heck of a lot more sense than paying $ 30 or $ 70 for a single book, albeit a hardcover book. Like I said, the volume of the 5 boxes is likely to get the wrath of the other half descending upon my head, where else one hard cover is just going to get lost in my library <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />
Planning to pledge. Just need to sort out at what level. On the one hand, the gamer in me wants to pledge as much as possible. But then, if the KS is a raging success, there is a chance that this would increase the ammount of stuff purchased and potentially result in my premature demise due to an irate wife who has already warned me off buying anymore gaming stuff :) I am planning on getting the painted sets. Why? First up, I want the stuff to match my other DF collection as it currently stands. Secondly, I can't paint to save my life :) And more unpainted and unused stuff is going to hasten the above mentioned premature demise :) As for shipping, unfortunately, I fully understand the cost of shipping of something like Dwarven Forge. The boxes themselves are not small, and the weight of the original product was quite considerable. So, the shipping is of no surprise. While this is not something I like, it is something that is acceptable. Paying $ 200 for 5 boxes makes a heck of a lot more sense than paying $ 30 or $ 70 for a single book, albeit a hardcover book. Like I said, the volume of the 5 boxes is likely to get the wrath of the other half descending upon my head, where else one hard cover is just going to get lost in my library :)
