Anyone tried the "DM's Familiar" program?

Every Sunday

I use DM's familiar EVERY Sunday during my game. The combat board alone is worth it but having the monsters, spells, skills, feats, and adventure information sitting in a handy little tree outline format is friggin' brilliant.

When a combat breaks out, you just drag encounters from the tree outline to the combat board and, voila, all of your monsters are sitting on the board, initiative rolled and sorted in proper order.

There are other features but you really have to use it to appreciate it. If you use a laptop at the game, this thing is a godsend. I couldn't run my games half as fast without it.

I've been interested in this program as well. I've never actually used any electronic tools to DM (other than to prepare for a session), but the indea is more and more intriguing. From what I've seen, this would probably be the program that I'd use to DM if it ever happens that I use a computer in-game. The layout is nice, everything's concise and right at your fingertips.

I'll second the request to hear any comments or experiences with this software as well.

I've used it the last time I DMed. I love it. I'm a new DM and having the program has made things easier for me. There are lots of features I don't know how to use yet, but I learn new things everyday. Go get this tool!!! There is also a yahoo group for the program.
