Anyone Trying For Never Split the Party?

Apparently if you have a group that has been split across the country/world/universe/multiverse or what not you can win a trip for yourself and 5 members of said group to Gencon, care of WoTC.

I might try for it.

I"m entering the contest! I fit the profile to a "T", my gaming group from grad school is now spread out over several states! Winning a trip to GenCon AND seeing all of the gang again would be incredibly awesome!

But I don't think anybody else should bother entering the contest . . . you'll screw my odds of winning!!!

I really want to know why they don't AT LEAST include Canada in these types of contests too, the cost differences are almost negligible.
And they're paying for flights from Canada (and all over the world really) all the time because of MTG anyway.

Varying laws on sweepstakes, contests, and lotteries make it very prohibitive to open these up to other countries. Heck, in some cases even state laws create exclusions.

It would be a way cooler promo if it could be global but our hands get tied on these things.
