Anyone up for some TOON?

Okay, now you get 30 points to put into skills, or by schticks with. Each skill begins at the same ranking as the attached attribute. They can be raised to 9.

The skills are

THE SCHTICKS

Bag of Many Things--5 Skill points You've got a bag that lets you draw out anything you want. (As long as the Animator allows it.) Of course, it doesn't always work.

Change Shape--5 Skill Points. You can turn yourself into practically anything--though you can't hide the fact that you're you.

Coat of Arms--4 Skill Points. You've got a technological coat with many arms, that lets you draw technological doodads out when you need them. Sometimes, it malfunctions, however...

Cosmic Shift--10 Skill Points. Remember when Bugs Bunny who duck into a door, and when Elmer went to open the door, there was a line of doors behind it--followed by a lion? This schtick grants you that awesome power, the ability to warp reality at a whim--with some severe limitations...

Detect Item--2 Skill Points. You can unfailingly detect a certain item.

Flying--4 Skill Points. You can fly. And if you mess us, fall.

Hypnosis--5 Skill Points. You can hypnotize others to bend them to your will.

Incredible Luck--3 Skill Points. You have amazing Luck. Things just seem to turn out how you want them.

Incredible Speed--6 Skill Points. You can move like the Road Runner. (And Speedy Gonzales, but I'd rather not talk about him...)

Incredible Strength--5 Skill Points. You can call upon awesome physical strength, like Popeye.

Invisibility--5 Skill Points. You can turn invisible. Sometimes.

Pet or Sidekick--3 Skill Points. You've got a follower. A loyal follower. A loyal follower, who ain't necessarily that bright, and who it costs a Plot Point to get to do anything...

Quick Change/Disguise--3 Skill Points. You can disguise yourself as anything you want, and people will buy it. Most of the time.

Stretching--3 Skill Points. You can strech yourself like a rubber band. Think Mr. Fantastic. Only goofier.

Teleport--6 Skill Points. You can teleport. From here to there, though there can wind up being an erupting volcano.

You may buy up to two Schticks, though the second schtick costs an extra 5 Skill Points. All Schticks begin at 5, unless they're Personalised Schticks.

Oh, and mps42--Sir Rounded's Incredible Strength always works. When he's fighting. With his visor down.

...And so I find out what it takes to make me stop lurking and finally post for once (or more).

Hi all! TOON is just about my favorite RPG, the only real competitor being D&D I suppose. I'd love to join this game if you'll have me- and if not, I'll happily read and observe. I have a character idea, but there's little point in fleshing it out if I'm not in the game.

So... can I join? Huh? huh? Pretty please with sugar and sprinkles on top? :D

Yakko the Wakko

Natural Enemies: People who lack a sense of humor.

Beliefs/Goals: Yakko believes laughter is the best medicine and humor makes the world go round. His goal is to make people laugh. The more they resist, the more he pesters them until they learn the value of humor.

Sure. Welcome aboard. :D

Still have room ? I'm going to GenCon so will be away for a week or so but
would love to play:

Craft E. RedWolfie -- MEGA-Genius!!

Working on stats but starts with :

Acme Crate of Many Things (5 points).

Cameron MacDRRRRRagon (must always roll that 'r' or he gets mad at you!)

Cameron is a human-sized plaid dragon (plaid in the Cameron family tartan, of course). He walks around on his hind legs like any other character, and has ridiculously small wings (too small to fly with). He speaks with a heavy Scottish accent in his normal voice and form, but with his Quick Change/Disguise Shtick he can speak any way he likes.
Natural Enemies: Adventurer-types (especially knights and wizards!), maidens (whether fair or unfair).
Beliefs and Goals: I need treasure like every other dragon, but since I can't fight it out of people, con them out of it instead! Maidens taste good, except for the unfair ones! Watch out for those! Never pass up a chance to make an adventurer look silly! And most important of all, NEVER let mispronouncing my name go unpunished!

Shticks:
Hoard-Bag of Many Things: 5 This is almost a Bag of Many Things, but is used to contain Cameron's treasure hoard, and never has any items that couldn't exist in a stereotypical fantasy dragon's treasure pile (for example, no cars, guns, or modern items). Also, Cameron's not particularly smart for a dragon, so he forgets what he has and what he doesn't. Somehow he never gets what he actually wants when he reaches into the Bag for something. If he makes his roll, it's an item that looks similar to what he wants, or might be passable or usable like that item if somebody makes (or fails) a Smarts roll- in other words, it has to be used creatively to work. If the roll fails, he gets a completely random item with no discernible connection to what he went into the bag looking for.
Quick Change/Disguise: 5 Cameron often uses this to escape from nasty adventurer-types or unfair maidens he's just passed shoddy goods on, or conned into doing something. He also uses it sometimes to change his voice to sound like something completely different, without actually changing his appearance at all- handy for ventriloquist situations!

And oops, I forgot to mention that I'm going to Gen Con too- but, hopefully the game won't get too far before we get back.

It'll be interesting to see how you do a 3-minute rule on these boards. :D

Sweety, the cute little chick
And Fluffy, the "Dont say I'm cute" little chick.

Sweety is an innocent little chick that wants to go out and have fun, and sing and dance offcourse!
Natural Enemies: Sweety's natural enemies are grumpy people. She tries to make them happy by singing and dancing, sometimes even flying around their heads until they are happy again. It is impossible that people will NOT enjoy this. (she thinks)
Beliefs and Goals: Sweety is naive, the world is not a dangerous place, it's fun and you no harm can come to you, really. Her goal is to make everybody see that the world is a happy place, full of fluffy-fluffy-joy-joy!

Shticks:
Flying Sweety is supposed to be able to fly, but she does not manage to fly very high or far when she is trying to. When she's attacked, or get's emotional, she starts flying quickly, untill she discovers she actually is flying. Then she quickly drops down.
SidekickSweeties trusty sidekick is Fluffy, her younger brother, while more aggresive, he's not very smart or zippy. He does not have any gts or chutzpah, unless challenged by Sweety.

For those of you who want to know where I based my character on:
Sweety is based onThis (the original commercial, with a dutch voice, just hit the playbutton)
Little movie clips of Sweety and his sidekick, Fluffy. Click on "test nu" next to the movie pic. This is a commercial site, so please don't order anything by accident :P

Okay, seeing as I'm going to be offline from the 20th until the 29th, we'll start the game then. Prepare for my somewhat expanded "I Foogled You".
