Anything for a Fighter to gain a pet?

OK, I was wondering if there was any way you could get a fighter to be able to gain a Tiger as a pet/companion. A feat or something since I know my DM will not let me happen to find one somewhere, and if I did, it would not be as a companion. I just didn't know if there is a feat to give "Animal Companion".

Short of using the Handle Animal to tame it as a pet, the only other solution I can think of is the Beastmaster Prc from Complete Adventure.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I am trying to go a different way with it, I just really want to have one as a companion.

Depending on what kind of sources your DM would allow, the Wizards website has the wild cohort feat.

Well, you could take some Ranger or Druid levels.

Or buy a Figurine of Wonderous Power.

It's basically a feat that gives a slightly reduced animal companion like a druid. It's like leadership only with your cohort being an animal.

Ahhhh, thats cool!!! I may go with that. I will have to look up prerequisited and everything too.

Wild Cohort is most likely your best bet. Especially if you want the tiger to be somewhat useful.
