Anything good from ToB for a wizard?

I was thinking along the lines of manuevers and stances...just because they're cool. I'm thinking maybe the child of shadow stance. Any others?

How about the Jade Phoenix Mage? It's simply amazing. The only thing wrong with it is not offering maneuvers from the Shadow Hand school. Otherwise, it's 100% pure rock on toast.

Ok, no shadow manuevers? That makes me cry *snif*. However, the abilitit to blow yourself up and come back to life looks really, really cool. I'll think about it. But what manuevers would complement spellcasting?

Getting a Crusader who has the nifty defensive maneuvers as a bodyguard is an obvious benefit.

Maybe Swordsage/wizard? Light armor is hardly any problem ASF-wise, IMO...some of the maneuvers would probably work well with quickened touch attack spells or a single casting of Chill Touch to up damage and put a little Str dmg in or to rout undead.

Diamond Mind has three "substitute concentration checks for saves" maneuvers (one for each save), none of which have prerequisites, and then you can get a nice stance that gives you blindsense. Not bad for 4 feats, or one level of swordsage.

That's actually really nice...except you have to fulfill the iniator level requirement, which takes a long time. But it adds a lot for those 20th level characters.
