AOO for movement

If a creature has 20 foot reach and combat reflexes, does it get to take multiple AOO on medium sized creatures that approach it via normal movement?

No--a creature only provokes one attack of opportunity for its movement, no matter how many threatened squares it moves through. See PHB 3.5 pp. 137-138, under Combat Reflexes and Additional Attacks of Opportunity.

No, they aren't separate things provoking AoOs; moving through any number of squares is still just one instance/action of provoking an AoO. As Christian says.

Is it also somewhere in the SRD?
I am asking because I remember it differently. Maybe it's just because I recently read 'Iron Heroes'. In 'Iron Heroes' there's a section saying each 5' step is to be considered a new instance of provoking an AAO.

Maybe...if it is a hydra! [ducks for cover]
