He wrote some things off as cybernetic implants for injured police officers or military personnel. He was caught by pure luck. He was implanting a visual aid when another doctor walked into his office. He had the option of leaving and his career being forever ruined, or going to jail and his career being ruined. He chose the option not ending in jail. That had been 3 weeks ago. He still couldn't find a job that allowed him to use his skills or cybernetic abilities. He woke up the next morning and went job hunting as normal. Things seemed different to him. The first thing that caught his attention was the lack of robots on the street. A sanitation truck drove by.....filled with people. Jobs that were typically robotic jobs were being done by humans. He couldn't understand what happened. Mykael spent the next week trying to understand what was going on. His apartment was the same as he remembered it, the internet still worked, although knowledge in robotics seemed stuck in the stone age. He accidently found his answer. History changed. He couldn't believe it. He spent another week trying to verify what he accidently found. Japan had nuclear weapons dropped on them, destroying a vast area. Mykael knew that never happened. Japan was the main reason robotics were as common as they were. Japan, in 1952, had invented the AI engines that drove robots. The nuclear weapon must of prevented such a development.</blockquote>
