You know, um... *looks both ways*.. that's really not a bad idea :)
Not that large or anything, but.. someone should do an art book with something like that, like with the clerical outfits.

Or even just a general art book of character illustrations; just characters, posed, four to a page. I think MegaTraveller had a book like that once; never saw it, though.

Fashions of Faerûn, using authentic Realms clothing rather than the Games Workshop look, is just the kind of book I wish Wizards would publish rather than the rules-filled powergame aids. Illustrated by Valerie Valusek and Ned Dameron, of course.

This is a great idea!

Now I can paritaly come out of the closet -- as a gamer! I mean, right now I can't tell any of my other friends or g/f what I do on Sunday night, it would ruin my popularity!

(The only reason I even grace you guys with my presence here is becasue the Internet is anyomous. In real life, I am a computer programer, rocket designer, marketing agent club boy.)

Now I can at least have one book out when I have someone over at my house, instead of hiding it under my bed, under some old Bruntini shoe boxes, right next to my magic card collection and a dead rat.

Let me get this straight, a computer programming rocket designer is affraid he might look like a geek?!?

The largest group I ever played in was 30 people and 27 of them were computer programmers.

I also know a few club kids that role-play and many more that clix and CCG. So my guess is that most of your friends would probably say - cool you RPG too.

That'll teach me to participate in an April Fool's gag with a straight face. :)

What really makes me mad about this product is that YET AGAIN they didn't give me proper credit on the cover. Oh, but how nice, instead of listing me as "cover model," I've been demoted on the credits page to "Stunt Butt for Mr. Pacino."

Great.

AAAAND coming down the runway now we have.....Elminster, sporting his oh-so stylish signature red wizards' robes, the smoke coming out of his pipe misking his face giving him the EVER-popular "YOU CAN'T SEE MY FACE!" look!

Next up is Alusair Obarskyr, carrying her BEAUTIFULLY deadly blade and decked out in her super-delux, ultra-fashionable, dwarven-crafted dominatrix cobat gear!

[Big Booming Anouncer Voice = OFF]

feel free to continue!:D
