Cyberpunk used to put fashion sections in its various style guides -- also included new equipment, new weapons, new computer programs, etc.

I think this book would be a good idea. Show how people from the different cultures in Faerun dress. With lots of color pictures. I'd buy it without hesitation.

AAAAND coming down the runway now we have.....Elminster, sporting his oh-so stylish signature red wizards' robes, the smoke coming out of his pipe misking his face giving him the EVER-popular "YOU CAN'T SEE MY FACE!" look!

Next up is Alusair Obarskyr, carrying her BEAUTIFULLY deadly blade and decked out in her super-delux, ultra-fashionable, dwarven-crafted dominatrix cobat gear!

AAND now coming down the runway, we have ... Szas Tam, wearing red robes and jewelry gathered from years of oppressing people in Thay. Let's hear it for everyone's second favorite zulkir.

Next up is Alassra Silverhand, the Simbul, her hair flying in the wind/ She is wearing a dress with a lovely silver brocade. Wait, the Simbul and Szass Tam are mortal enemies. Who put them next to each other in the line up? What is she doing? Oh, NO!! Duck!! (A maximized meteor swarm goes off next to Szass Tam!)

Please pardon us while we retreat to the Western Showroom!!

On a more serious note, maybe a product that helps distinguish the different cultures of the Realms from each other might be good. Culturally, what is different from someone in Waterdeep and someone in Var the Golden? (Does Races of Faerun address this?)

Aaaaaaaaaaaactually, i also thought it would be an interesting book. Not neccessarily for FR, but a book on generic dark age, medeival, reneaisance and fantasy clothing and such. :)

Yep, jokes aside... this reminds me how a really good opportunity was wasted in Races of Faerun to use decent art to show players what their characters were likely to look like.

Oh well, WotC, after Fiend Folio all is forgiven (what a fantastic book).... :)
