[April] What are you playing this month?

I'll check out beyond good & evil I got and smoked prince of persia a while back. A bit too short of a game but dang it was fun. And even though it was a bit quick it was well worth the money I probably speant 15-20 hours on it at my standard of I want 5$ an hour of entertainment it easily panned out.

Playing Fatal Frame on Xbox... boy talk about atmosphere. Very well done game that can send chills down your spine.

I just got hooked on Knights of the Old Republic last night ... it's a more-or-less accurate port of a limited version of the Star Wars d20 ruleset using the Neverwinter Nights engine. The level designers, unfortunately, haven't quite got the "Star Wars d20 is more than just D&D with blasters" thing down (there's a distinct dungeon-crawliness about large chunks, particularly the Undercity Sewers), but given that limitation, it's a better Neverwinter Nights than Neverwinter Nights was! I'm enjoying it quite a bit so far.

Finished the last mission of Splinter Cell which I hadn't cleared, uninstalled it, then installed Pandora Tomorrow. But I'm on a business trip in Taiwan this week so I brought along a copy of GalCiv which I have yet to install and try.

Fight Night 2004 for Xbox. Today, though, I put Amped (platinum) edition in for a minute to make sure my left thumbstick was still working.

Fear The Hitman and his Straight Right Hand of Doom!

On the XBox its NBA Street Volume 2 and ESPN Football.

On the PC its:

Call of Duty multiplayer
Counter Strike (Half Life mod)
Day of Defeat (Half LIfe Mod
Madden 2004 (multiplayer only)
Medieval:Total War
Far Cry

City of Heroes.
(Anyone else playing this?)

COH is available now?! :) Didn't think it shipped until later this month...

Well, is it worth the $49.99 price tag? From everything I've seen this game is going to ROCK, but to hear it firsthand before laying out the $$ would be nice.

Thanks,
-LW

Hmmm...

I was playing Black & White... now I've started Wizardry 8 up again with a solo human rogue I plan to multiclass to bard at level 21...

I'm finally to the final story on Sonic Heroes. It was easier than I was anticipating to get here, which is a good thing, since I would have been seriously annoyed if I had to struggle to get all the Chaos Emeralds.

I am in the COH beta and I have enjoyed it a great deal. Well worth it in my opinion. This has been comsuming what little free fun time I have. I am also playing Far Cry and Sacred but only a little since getting into the awesome City of Heroes Beta.
