After finishing Jack Vance's Lyonesse trilogy, which was amazing, I started reading Tanith Lee's Kill the Dead, which I find lacking. Seems like Lee is as much a romance writer as a fantasy author? Anyway the story is unimpressive thus far, but then I'm not finished yet [sigh].
