Origins of Yezzazi’s Oasis

Yezzazi’s tales are told by the tribes as warnings against bad decisions and foolish choices, but they also reinforce that no situation is ever truly hopeless. The most famous tale concerns the creation of the oasis that bears his name. In it, Yezzazi is alone and dying of thirst in the great sea of sand, when he finds a strange bottle that is cool to the touch. Hoping to find a drink to quench his all-consuming thirst, he breaks the seal releasing the noble djinni who had been trapped inside for centuries. It offered him one wish in gratitude, and his answer was one word: “water”.
A spring of cool water burst from the rock beneath his feet and continues to flow with clean, fresh water to this day. The oasis, which formed around the spring, has become an important water source for all those who call the desert home. This article details the cultures and backgrounds connected to such people. Two to Tango: The Whirling Dancer Combat Tradition

Taken up by cunning spies, charming performers, and charismatic vigilantes alike, the Whirling Dancer maneuvers combine graceful movement and deadly intent. For those that take up this tradition, life is a performance—and combat the most thrilling performance of them all! This article introduces a new combat tradition, as well as a table of origins to inspire your character’s backstory. By Andrew Engelbrite.

Minor Magics for Martials

While most martial characters never learn any kind of magic, and rely entirely on their skill with weapons, fists, tracking, leadership, skullduggery, or the burning fury in their hearts, there are many who pick up a few magical tricks along the way. This article embellishes those core conceits by allowing you to pick knacks, lessons, talents, techniques, and tricks that add a little mystical flair to your character’s day to day. Trials of the Wilds: Four Forest-Themed Festivals

There is much to celebrate under the boughs of great trees, whether it is a successful bargain with woodland spirits, the majesty of the woods themselves, or the balance of nature. The following are a small collection of forest-themed celebrations that will bring a unique grouping of festivals to any village. Even far from the old growth trees that inspired them, many communities still carry on the traditions of these festivals as a way to honor their deities, such as the goddess of nature. By Jon Neddo.

None of it is particularly useful in combat, obviously... but if you've got both hands and a map it'll help you find what's missing.
