I'll probably pick it up :) Is it going to be OGC? Does anyone know?

Ashy, how about you stopping buy Columbus on your way to GenCon and givin' me a ride? :P

KoC - lemme check and see how far that is out of the way and you just might find yourself in luck. :) Brannon Hall and I have rented a little (and I mean little) toss-away vehicle for the trip, so the more the merrier (and the less we have to spilt in gas) is what I say! ;) I don't think I can help with a room, though... Let me know if you are serious and I will see what can be done! :D

Is it okay if I call you Ashy for the trip? Don't want you guys both going 'What?" when I say your names :P

I'll have to look into it. I have no friggin' clue where Indianapolis is compared to Columbus. Plus, it depends on if my sister wants to take me into Alabama (she hates the state :P).

imho

WOow!
personally I think that looks amazing, great job!

That blows away Wotc's garbage Dm's screen big time!

I hope the line of minis will look as close to the art as is possible-

That Death's Door rule is great. I have been using that same rules in my game (as I know others have because I know I didn't come up with it) for almost a year now. I also really like the CON mod giving a little more breathing room for falling unconcious. Goooood stuff. :D

And the artwork looks quite inspiring. Not surprising considering who the artists are and how good recent Malhovic books have been.

Ah yes, it will be hardcover. The races look interesting, particularly the faen. Has Monte put up any info about the races on his site?

heads over to check now

Sorry, the art doesn't do anything for me. It's not bad, and far better than I'll ever do. A couple of them were nice, but overall, my impression was lukewarm. I think it's a style thing.

I do like the improved Death's Door (Death's Garage Door?) rule, though. I think it'll probably get swapped for my next game.

I do like what I'm seeing from AU.

Yes, the first of the designer diaries was about the races. Just a little bit of information, but you don't have to look in many other places. The only other big bit of info was in the .pdf brochure, also available on Monte's site, and most of that duplicated the first designer diary.

He has let loose some additional rules based information for the races on the web forum and in other diaries. The best bet for getting this is probably to post on the forum and ask what people have heard. Monte himself is very active on those messageboards and here.
