Arcana Unearthed on Amazon

I ordered a copy of Arcana Unearthed from Amazon just after GenCon, and I still haven't gotten it yet. The site says its not yet released, but about everyone else on the planet seems to have a copy.

Does anyone out there know what the deal is? Has anyone ordered this from Amazon and gotten their copy?

Unearthed Arcana has indeed not yet been released. It is due to come out early next year.

What I believe you're after is Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed, the alternate PHB with a similar name.

I've ordered it from them as well. After my search at local shops and my FLGS last weekend I decided to just go the amazon.com route because I wanted a few DVDs as well. To answer your question - Mine is still in pre-order status. They'll probably have it by the end of the month.

How Odd

While Amazon.com shows it as Not Yet Released, Amazon.ca says it usually ships in 4 to 6 weeks. Luckily, my copy awaits at the F(if maddeningly uninformed)LGS.

I got my copy from Amazon.com yesterday, I was starting to get worried myself.

Good to hear that Amazon will be carrying the Arcana Unearthed line, without a huge wait for delivery.

I was originally thinking of ordering my copy of Monte's alt-PHB from them, after reviewing it's purchasability in one of the comfy chairs at the Barnes & Noble library...I mean bookstore.

But I made the mistake of stopping in a local Shinder's, where I had to wait, third in line, to flip through the single remaining copy on the shelves. Failed Will save. Bought it.

Happiest d20 purchase in years.

I just hope the delay for Amazon to ship The Diamond Throne book won't be too long. (Have to spend my D&D 3.5 preorder refund on something , eh? )

Otherwise I don't dare go into any bookstore until then!

Mine is also still on preorder status at Amazon (the Monte Cook one, not the other one) but since I ordered it along with the Player's Guide to Fighters and Barbarians, which is also on preorder status, I have no clue when they'll end up sending it. Their estimated delivery date is May-June 2004.
