Arcane Disciple [CoDi]+Artic Priest [FrBu]=?

OK, suppose you are an arcane spellcaster (anything from bard to wu jen), and you have the Arcane Disciple feat (cf. Complete Divine) for the Cold or Winter domain, both of which are from Frostburn. Simple enough.

Would that entitle you to take the Artic Priest feat?

ARTIC PRIEST [GENERAL]
You can swap out prepared spells to cast spells to aid in exploring and surviving in frostfell areas.
Prerequisite: Access to Cold or Winter cleric domain.
Benefit: You can channel stored spell energy into spells that aid in exploring and surviving in the frostfell, even if you did not prepare these spells ahead of time. You can "lose" any prepared spell that is not a domain spell in order to cast any of the spells that appear on the list below, as long as the spell to be cast is of an equal or lower level to the one you lose.
Spells you can spontaneously cast when using this feat include: control weather, create food and water, endure elements, heroes' feast, hibernate, protection from energy, and resist energy.

I'd be tempted to say that, according to the RAW, it is valid, but bards and sorcerers (and other spontaneous spellcasters, like assassins or warmages) would have to take the Spell Preparation feat, which is kinda strange for a prerequisite to spontaneous casting.

Your opinion?

The crux of the question is: "does the Arcane Disciple feat give access to a domain?"

I can see arguments for the yes and for the no, so I don't know.

I'd say no. Arcane Disciple adds spells to your class list. These spells happen to be domain spells from a single domain, but it does not grant access to the cleric domain itself.

I agree with Thanee.

3RD-LEVEL DRUID SPELLS
Dominate Animal: Subject animal obeys silent mental commands.

4TH-LEVEL DRUID SPELLS
Summon Nature’s Ally IV: Calls creature to fight.

5TH-LEVEL DRUID SPELLS

6TH-LEVEL DRUID SPELLS
Antilife Shell: 10-ft.-radius field hedges out living creatures.

Summon Nature’s Ally VIII: Calls creature to fight.

9TH-LEVEL DRUID SPELLS

A Druid does not have access to the Animal domain, even though all the spells from the animal domain are on his class spell list.

Arcane Disciple explicitly states that you learn the spells of the domain, not the domain itself which also provide special abilities and such. As the feat requires the Domain, not spells of the domain, then Arcane Disciple will not suffice.

I'd allow it, but pretty much only because I think the Arctic Priest feat sucks. I'm willing to go with a dodgy prereq when the payoff is that low.

No, because Arcane Disciple (which is a really weak feat) only adds the spells of the domain into your class list. It doesn't even increase any of your spells known nor does it give you any granted domain powers.

This one is pretty clear. Absent the actual domain bonus, the person doesn't have the domain. No dice.

Of course, Spellmantle is a thousand times better than having to convert to some predetermined spells, but that's just my opinion . . .

Not really, otherwise you wouldn't use Wisdom for them, but Int or Cha, like for the spells on your class list. ;)
