D&D 5E Arcane/Druidic Foci and Holy Symbols

The PHB descriptions of Arcane and Druidic Foci and Holy Symbols leave a lot of leeway in what they might be. Each entry suggests several forms, with a matching cost/weight in the accompanying chart, but goes to great lengths to say that those examples are not all-encompassing.


As such, what interesting kinds of foci would you allow in your games?

A silver sickle?

A sacrificial dagger?

A voodoo doll?

An enchanted puzzle box?

A mace in the shape of a censer?

One of my players is bringing in a new PC. A firbolg druid named "Hempwyn", to be exact. His druidic focus is going to be a "pipe full of special herb". Sigh ...
